We believe every exercise routine should include strength training – building strong muscles is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the benefits you’ll receive. Do you even lift, bro?
Strength Space is where our strength and conditioning focus comes through. With a set and rep based structure, we follow a true strength program where your work to rest ratios are determined by a percentage of your maximum capacity.
In our strength classes, you will be taught the fundamentals of the primary compound movements and with the incorporation of accessory exercises, this program will develop full body strength. We also educate around the importance of the rest times between the sets.
We use individual spreadsheets to track each client’s progression through the program, meaning that within each class – whilst clients might all be doing the same exercises – each individual has the chance to work harder or work less depending on where they are at.
The small class numbers mean that the Trainer is able to adjust, coach and progress you through the session, ensuring that progressions are relative to you and your ability; rather than “let’s just add on a bit more”. This is where things get very technical but also where we learn and educate.
